esp, DURING LENT; cath labour 530p, fr strict, m: "Ystrday we heard..daniel..strong words..now isaiah re repentance..& tomorrow re jeremiah..more stronger..Saturday..micah..so trying to go to church..atttend eucharist everyday during lent..might have opp to listen to the words of prophets, spec theme of lent re repent & penance..points of isaiah..calling israelites to change lives, change directions, ..wandering away from covt., so much pressure..hear so much fr prophets these days of lent..we need to heed their words, as much as ancestors israelites did..human nature not perfect then, not today, mmwe tend to become complacent, ..to think status quo is good enough,.but acc to prophets of ot & ..today, we r not perfect, but imperfect, so we do need reminder of repentance, ..may change life, direction, question, are we willing..and what do to change, ,,repent,,sorry, but, process of, converting,,changing lifes directions,,know way to return to lord, know what to do to, .how to change our sp lives, as we cont to celebr mystery of christ's love, listen to words of isaiah again, ..'listen,..people of the..wash clean, ..put away mistakes,..cease doing evil,,,learn to do good,..come back to the lord" Is 1:10, 16-20 Hear the word of the LORD princes of Sodom!
